Sand Point Elementary's annual Move-A-Thon fundraiser is a fun tradition that combines healthy activity and fitness goals with raising crucial funds for PE, recess equipment, playground improvements and other important programs!

Each autumn, rain or shine, each student participates by running, jogging, walking or rolling around the 1/8th mile course on our playground for 20 minutes with teachers and volunteers recording how many laps they can do in that time.

​

Before the event, students can ask family and friends for small pledges to support their fitness efforts, and we combine those funds to reach our yearly target.
