Food Resources for Families
Free School Meals for All Students
Starting in fall 2026, Seattle Public Schools offers free student breakfast and lunch to all students.
Please Complete the CNEEB Form Every Year!
In order to fund these free meals, every family must complete the
Child Nutrition Education and Benefits (CNEEB) application.
Translations of the CNEEB forms are available in Amharic, Chinese, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese under How to Apply: Translations Paper Application here.
100% completion gives SPS the best data to support our district and qualify
for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) programs.

Free Meal Packs for Students
Meal Packs from the University District Food Bank are delivered to Sand Point students weekly.
Return this form to the Sand Point Elementary School office to sign up!

UW Pediatric Dentist at Magnuson
The University of Washington Center for Pediatric Dentistry is just down the street. It offers convenient dental care for all kids and has specialized services for children with autism, Down syndrome and other special needs.

After-School Enrichment at SPE
Sand Point hosts the YMCA Before and After School Enrichment Program and a new Pokemon Club. We also made a list of after-school programs in our neighborhood with scholarships.

The Annual Maple Leaf Free Yard Sale
Every July our neighbors in Maple Leaf host a community event where everything is free.
You can search for clothes, toys or anything you need on their website here.
They also have Free Yard Sale Days in Wedgwood in July and Lake City in August.
