City of Seattle to Provide Free Childcare During SEA Strike

Starting on Monday, September 12th, the City of Seattle will provide free childcare for students in grades K-6 at Meadowbrook Community Center, and community centers throughout the city. Childcare will be provided from 9:00am-5:30pm. Registration opens September 8th through Active Net. Visit the City of Seattle website for more information. Seattle Public Schools provides a list of childcare options on their website. In addition, Arena Sports and Wunderkind are also offering day camps during the closure.
